What pet store has cheap but good fish tanks2007-11-24 22:17:17

I want to find where to buy a fish tank for a good price in modesto! any common or maby uncommon pet store like petco will work. any suggestions?

wal-mart has 10 gallon tanks for about 8 bucks, petco has the same kind or 9.99. you''ll also need a cover, which costs about as much as a tank.

Wal-Mart has very heap fish tanks.. But this is in the rodent forum. Are you going to keep a rodent in a fish-tank? Keep in mind a tank is not ventilated. If you must use a tank, make sure it has a screen top, not a solid one!

If you are buying it for fish, I hope you know how expensive the fish-keeping hobby is! Make sure to treat the water with Amquel and Novaqua. You will need to test the water, and a testing kit for freshwater is $30. Keep the pH at a good range, maintain good water quality with a filter and air pump.
