What rabbit breeds does petlands in indiana sell
i have looked on their website but it doesn't say
Answers:I agree with Kellie - don't buy a rabbit - or any animal at Petland. They could care less about the animals - it is all about selling those animals. There puppies are from puppy mills - no matter what they may tell you. As for the rabbits, they may look okay, but think of all the people that touch them and pick them up (since they basically have a petting zoo inside a pet store). People don't wash their hands and who knows what they have touched. Also, I have seen kids pick them up and then drop them on the floor. With all that touching of fragile animals, they are bound to be more sick or even injured. If you buy a rabbit, please buy it from some place or someone reputable like professional breeders or pet stores that close off their animals for their protection, like Petsmart or Petco. Adoption is also an option - there are many homeless rabbits out there (www.petfinder.com). Also, I don't know about Petsmart, but I know Petco's rabbits are already neutered/spayed which is an added benefit for the rabbit's health.
i wouldn't go to petland. their pets may look healthy, but most aren't. i bought a rabbit from there, and they said he was a girl, and i took him to the vet and found out they were wrong. if a rabbit is what you want, look up house rabbit society on google. they have rabbits for adopting ALL over the US. they'll show you the state and everything.
