His name is BrunWiccan, and i've already tried yogurt, so no need suggesting it!
Answers:Are you feeding wild rats in your backyard?? Please be careful as they can be very vicious and do carry disease! I will tell you that rodents tend to like peanut butter...if you want to keep it around...However if you are looking to keep it at bay, you may want to just sprinkle some peppermint oil in the areas where it likes to stay. Mice and rats tend to dislike this scent and will stay away from it. In any case, rat bites can be serious, so be careful (especially if you have children!!)!!
Why keep it at bay? Why not invite BrunWiccan inside? You could adopt it as a pet and teach it tricks. Make sure you get a leash, though. I hate it when irresponsible pet owners let their animals run wild throughout the neighborhood.
In my experience (i have two rats) i'm guessing the rodent will eat almost everything. Our rats like bread crusts, pizza crusts, fruit, pasta, veggies and more. Try a few things out and see how the rodent likes them.
you need to call pest control and have it removed. Don't feed it wild rodents can carry all kind of stuff.
