You have to clean their cage often (it stinks something awful).

Also they drink a lot of water. They like to eat nuts, dried fruits, some seeds. They also need small salt wheels. My sons hamster loved those. They were like a special treat to him. Good Luck

I would not get a dawrf hamster they seem to be meaner

Also when getting your hamster you need to be very gentle, she or he might bite you at first but once they get to know you they will stop. Get lots of chew toys. for if you get a wire cage and have no chew toys they might chew on the wires!
