i am a 10 yr old kid that really wants a hamster but my parents wont let me unless i go to seven kings and that might happen a year from now but i want a hammster now so how should i persuade my parents to get me a hammy.

Answers:

My mom was kind of the same way. She wouldn't let me have one b/c she thought my grades would drop. U could show them that you are smart and ur grades won't drop just cuz u have a hamster. That's my advice.

If your are so smart, ( I dont mean this in a mean way, a good way.!) then your parents are probably worried about you beging distracted and your grades failing. Of course this would not happen, but maybe that is one of their reasons.

Rats are better pets than hamsters, hamsters are not as social, and a lot less fun, they do not like being held, they only tolerate it, you may as well get a snake as a hamster, it's about the same. Rats actually WANT to be your friend.

TRboi my rats bit me and hid from me so NO not all want to be your friend. My rats bit more than my sister's hamster ever did.

I'd recommend guinea pigs. They seriously never bite. I've owned 50 and never been bitten. Very affectionate animals.
