Everytime i get my hamster ootu she bites me what should i do!?

How are you picking her up? If you're using the cupping method (what most pet shops tell you), try putting your hand over her back, 1 finger in front 1 behind her front legs, your other fingers spread out to support her body. All my hamsters responded best to this style, as it supported them. If you're doing this, or similar, try cupping your hands. Basically, slide one hand under each side of her. Some hamsters will just run away though.

Some hamsters actually never enjoy being handled. They don't always get lonely, you can still spend time stroking them, giving them toys and treats, talking to them. I had 1 beautiful hamster who just didn't like being held. I got her to the point where I'd pick her up about once a week, and check her over, make sure she was healthy, ears clean and such. She often went in her hamster ball, she learnt to climb in herself very quickly.

So good luck with your Hammie, and even if she doesn't get that hand tame, you can still have fun with her!

Does she bite you enough to make you bleed or just a quick niip then backs away fast? If she is making you bleed it is a sign of anger, if it is a quick nip then this shows she is scared. If she is making you bleed, try picking her up by the scruff of then neck, taking her out of the cage and placing her flat in your other hand. If she is scared, take the food out of her cage in the morning, and then in the evening when she is awake put some food on your hand and lay it flat in your cage.
