What sort of dog biscuits can I give my Hamster Please read for details2007-11-24 22:18:01

I recomend trying science diet dog treats. It is healthy for your dog, and i have never seen a dog sick after eating it, while my dogs get sick after eating some other types of biscuts. It is a little bit more expensive then other types, but it is veternarian recommended and approved. below is a link to science diet food info:

The FDA has less strict food rules for animal food than it does for people, so some things that would be illegal to feed to people are legal to put in commercial dog food and treats.

i used to give my hamsters dog biscuits, nothing ever happened. but why dont you try natural treats. They are much better for your hamster. like yogurt, lettuce, carrots stuff like that. if your looking for a real treat give a tiny bit of cheese, but only once in a while.

they are very different species so the items in dog treats might be bad for your hamster

they have specialised treats for hamsters

or you could give them plain cereal like cherrios or shreddies to snack on
