I have a Guinea Pig and i want to know what stresses them so that i don't stress her. Thanks for your help.
Answers:Loud noises, sudden noises, sudden movement, movement overhead.. and they don't like it when you just swoop down on them from above out of nowhere and grab them. Go slow and pet them a bit before picking them up (verry gently). Guinea pigs are prey animals, so they are naturally skittish and easily startled.
Getting a new pet, taking them out of their cage to much, the death of another guinea pig the know, thats all i know
loud music. specially heavy metal/rock. emm...maybe too much light. moving and grabbing them.
Dropping her, or handling her roughly, getting a new cage mate, other animals, being constantly disturbed, being abruptly woken from sleep..
