but anyways.. when it is dark and quiet they are out.. away from all the danger
well early evening is best. turn all lights off or down and just listern!( have a touch handy so you can see where you are going) if you leave food in corners of the rooms you have some idea which room she is in.
Ok I've had LOTS of hamsters escape on me and even some mice and we always caught ours running along the wall borders or across the kitchen floor between 10pm and midnight sometimes between 10pm and 2am...the way I used to cath mine was I'd stay up with a VERY DIM light on and the TV on...I'd have a small pile of their favorite food in the kitchen (middle of the floor) and I'd PRETEND to watch TV ...out of the corner of my eye I'd always see them running for it
