What would be a bad part about purchasing a mouse2007-11-24 22:18:34

I know their strongpoints, I've heard that they smell a lot and are dumping machines. Is this true?

I want to buy 2, both female.

there really isn't a bad thing about mice because i have 2 and my girl is about to give birth so... Ya! and they are just SO cute! if you want 2 females from my litter you can just e-mail me! you can get them for free!

The are quick, love to chew on everything, great at escaping, they pee on EVERYTHING (most rodents will potty in a corner), they eat like you wouldn't believe (for their size fo course), they don't live very long, they smell and they just aren't nearly as cool as a rat.

It's all up to you on what kind of pet you would prefer...but...I don't care much for mice. They're cute and are nice but.I think the cons outweight the pros.

Only the males have an unbearable smell. I have let my mouse cage go for 2 weeks without a cleaning and they smelled just fine. They do poop a lot, but considering it is a tiny mouse, it is normal. I would recommend you only buy females; males smell terrible.
