What would be a good yet reasonably priced cage for a teddy bear hamster2007-11-24 22:18:34

I want something easy to clean, reasonably priced, and something the hamster can live in all his life.

Answers:

A 10 gallon glass aquarium for fish with a breathable lid.(wire or mesh) Any petstore will have one. Its easy to see through, cheap, and plenty big. On cleaning day, all you is dump out hte stuff and wash with the hose and soap.

Well, any of the hamster cages with tubes aren't going to be easy to clean. Teddy bear hamsters LOVE the tubes, so, you are going to have to risk some hard cleaning. Here are are few links, that, lead to a some-what easy-to-clean cages:

It is easy to clean as there are no annoying tubes that are hard to come apart and it is only $22. The only thing I cannot tell from the picture is if the platforms are solid or wire, your really do not wires because it will hurst your little Hamsters feet.
