Australian Mice are super pets. I had one called Buddy. He was great - he was a similar size to a fat rat but he was a mouse. He was really friendly too - he used to sit on people's knees and park himself on the coffee table.

Buddy died however - he was running around the floor one day when a pal of mine was sitting on a guitar amplifier,. He was rocking forward and back. Buddy somehow slipped in underneath...

I'd have to say rabbit but ome people don't consier those rodents so I guess guinea pigs and rats!!

Rats! Hands down! They are friendly, easy to care for and are as intelligent as dogs. What else could you ask for in a pet? ;)

Rats! I have 3 boys at present. They are clean, intelligent, fun to watch and loyal to each other. And they have just the cutest tummies to kiss!! Only problem is they don't live too long and it breaks my heart when they have to go.

mine too! i have had alot, and i mean alot of mice, a hamster(which was CRAZY!) and 3 rats, i still have 1 and all my friends love her! my mom HATES rodents but this rat is the VERY first rodent of mine that shes ever handled.. :)
