tbh a hutch would be more space saving but if you wanted a cage then they're huge 1.5+ metres long and about 80cm+ wide. and dont go any smaller than that!!

Catie G has it right.a huge cage like that will cost you about $35 to build and guinea pigs love them! My girls have been living in a 2x6 grid cage for three years, they seem to really appreciate it.

And this was after I spent $80 on a store bought cage which ended up being too small!

Don't make the same mistake I did!

2 guinea pigs need at least 7.5sq ft. That is the absolute minium, a better size is 10.5sq ft. The pet store cages will not be any good, these are way to small and will not be good for either of your boys.

Cubes and coroplast cages are very good, easy to clean, modify and build, but best of all they are very cheap. Instructions and tips are on the following site:
