Whats a great cage for a panda bear hamster from petco2007-11-24 22:18:40

i just got a panda bear hamster and we bought her a cage but she is gonna get 6-8 inches so she wont be able to fit.can anyone find a good cage a one petco.com please please please.i want to no have to worry bout her getting stuck in the tubes

maybe a nice big aquarium with a metal screen lid. put a wheel inside and some other fun activity stuff.

when i was a kid i had a hamster who chewed through her plastic hamster cage.

Definately not an aquarim,

There are cages with metal bars.

You can use one of them.

They are easy to clean.

You can add a wheel for him/her.

Anything you wan. =)

They are very roomy.

If you get a habitrail cage, they won't get stuck in the tubes. My female hamster is pretty chunky, but she gets through the habitrail tubes with ease.

I answered in your other question as well - I strongly vote in favour of a wire-type cage, and not an aquarium. We have an aquarium for the one hamster, and the ventelation is terrible.
