Whats better a roborovski or siberian dwarf hamster

i just want other opinions lol...=D..i would go for roborovski's for loads of reasons...also when you vote/answer give your reasons why plz!=D

I have owned both Roborovski's and Campbell's Russian Dwarf hamsters. I found the Robo to be, overall, calmer and easier to handle than most of my dwarfs, but quite tempermental, more so than most of my dwarfs.

Robos tend to have similar coloring to classic Russians; the brown and darker brown striping with the white or ivory belly. Robos tend to have more grey than brown, and their bellies seem to be much more creamy than Russians. Russians, however, are available in a wide array of colors, like white, argente (cinnamon), black, and everywhere in between. I have seen gunmetal gray Russians and pearly white with almost bluish undertones.

I felt that Robos were actually softer than Russians. Something about their hair felt thicker and fluffier than a Russians hair. But I felt that my Russian dwarf hamsters were quicker and funnier than my Robos. But, I also felt that the Robo was cuter. I know they basically look just the same, but something about my Robos' faces seemed even cuter (if possible) than my Russian dwarfs. I might be crazy, but that's how it seemed to me!

I would say if you can find a well bred and well tempered Robo, I would go for that. Where I used to live and breed, Russians were very common, and the only time you'd find a Robo in a pet store is if it was mislabled as a Russian. If you are more interested in having a specific color of hamster, you might have better luck with a Russian. They are both wonderful hamsters and make great companions.
