Whats it like having a guinea pig

can you hold them?

will they bite and shake the cage bars at night when your sleeping?

my rabbit wont let me hold her and always shakes the bars at night, I was thinking of getting a guine pig as well (in a different cage) and was wondering if they do the things I asked

Well your rabbit is telling you she needs some outside the cage playtime. The less attention you give her, the more unfriendly she becomes. They would act just like a wild rabbit. You have to re-tame her. You could also try giving her some apple tree branches or hay to chew on. She may be telling you that she needs something to chew on.

Why not just let your rabbits cage door open, no pets around + let her loose. Sit on the floor so she will get used to you. Don't make any fast moves, it will spook her. Do this for about a week, more if she needs it. Next you should have some food + hold it with your fingers to feed her, she should come to you to get it. If you go to her, you may get her mad at you + pounce on your or something lol You could even put a cardboard box in your room on the floor, cut a doorway in it + see what she does. You will split your guts watching her chew up the box, do her binkies (dancing while running) this is cute too. You can enjoy any animal just by watching them, spending time with them + getting to know them. They are pretty awesome pets >! !<

Guinea pigs, no I dont think they chew their cage bars, but the do stay up at night But like a rabbit, they sure can smell the place up if their cages aren't cleaned regularly.
