Whats the best hamster cage for quite a big hamster(syrian hamster) and is a averge price which i ca2007-11-24 22:18:09

internt. I dont wana buy it off ebay becuse they might be given me a cage which a hamster died in and i dont want that. amazon dosent sell hamster cages do they? What other UK sites what has nice hamster cages and delievers to london etc... please. my hamster has grown out of her cage!thanks everyone

ok heres for the UK, and i suggest that you invest in a "crittertrail X" if you have a rather large hamster, i have two dwarf hamsters and i bought one but it was too big for them they couldnt get up the tube and into that big wheel up top. but anyways its ideal for a larger hamster, and very compact...doesnt take up alot of space, and not to pricy. and with this cage you can also buy the tubes that are compatible with the habitrail X and make more and more stuff to add on to it.

but if you really wanted to go all out, you can make a playpen area for your hamster, i have one for my dwarfs they love it, all you need is to go to your local store and purchase a rubbermaid container, and fill it with tons of bedding and go to your local pet store and buy some toys and such to put in there and you can set them in there for an hour or two a day and they love love it! but i hope this helps you...good luck :)
