Whats the best type of hamster to get
I don't want anything too small, and I'm not interested in teddy bear hamsters... can you also include where i could get the hamster? thanks in advance!
Answers:Well, first of all, hamsters don't like sharing cages with one another. it would be best to only get one. dwarf hamsters are more fragile than teddy bear hamsters or fancy hamsters. a fancy hamster is the most common. Teddy bear hamsters are the second most popular. Choose a hamster of that breed and only buy one. Make sure you pick one that is gentle and will not bite, so you must hold it in the store. It should be smooth sailing from there. GOO LUCK!!
Campbells Russian dwarfs live great together as long as they're from the same family. They're not that small either.
black bear hamsters are good and nice but the only problem is they fight other hamsters.

the only kind to get is the syrian, they live alone and they are people friendly, the dwarfs are too nervous and edgy, and they don't live as long.
