Whats wrong with my guinea pigs feet
My 5 year old male guinea pig has very swollen and calloused front feet. He doesn't walk normally anymore because of the swelling. He doesn't seem to be in pain, just uncomfortable. What's wrong with him, and what can I do to help?
Answers:This is a very painful thing for your guinea pig. Your guinea pig's feet are swollen and may be crusty or bleeding. If the bone becomes infected, your guinea pig's leg may need to be surgically removed! Here is a site for you that will explain all about this swollen infection: http://www.guinealynx.com/pododermatitis...
I hope that your guinea pig gets better soon! Thanks, and good luck,

maybe its bumblefoot?
It sounds like bumble foot ~ you should probably get him to a vet as soon as you can!

take him to a vet and see what they recommend. aww im sorry about ur piggie :( hope he feels better
That happened to my guinea pig. Take him to an exotic vet. They'll give you antibiotics and pain meds. Piggies often don't seem like they're in pain when they're really just hiding it.
