Whats wrong with my hamster

I used to have 2 hamsters (they were sisters, from the same litter and mother) but then they started fighting and biting each other so i gave the other hamster away.My white hamster got bite so badly that on the part where hamsters urinate it poped out and is really pink, then just yesterday i noticed there was another problem with my white hamster just above her teeth something poped out too i think it goes into her mouth too. Can anyone give me advice on what i should do besides bringing her to the vet. My mom said i should get rid of her and just buy another hamster or cat.

If you truly love your pet, taking her to the vet as soon as possible IS the best and ONLY humane thing that you can do right now for your pet. Vets have gone through years of specialized training to deal with problems such as this and will know exactly what your problem is and what to do. Just as with humans, having a doctor see the problem makes it so much more easier to diagnose and treat whereas, just describing the problem without an examination can cause more harm (not to mention suffering) than good.

If you are worried about the finances, veternarians are more than willing (unlike most doctors for humans) to work with you on payment. They are more concerned for the welfare of the animal.

Also, if you are going to own a pet, please take in consideration the amount of money and time they need as they are living beings, just as you are, dependent upon your care and not dolls that you can play with when you want to and expect everything to always be okay.
