When I first got my hamster
I put my hand in his cage and he would come right up, but now hw doesnt...I have to pick him up(and he barely want to come) Why does he do this? Also he goes to the bathroom ALOT! why?
Answers:It depends on how old your hamster is, my hamster is 15 months old now and he is slowing down a little. Although he adores coming out of his cage, he does sleep more at night.
But as this is out of character it is always best to get him to the vets. Animals cant tell us if they are unwell, but as owners it is our responsibility to take good care of them, and seek medical help with anything your not to sure about.
If he is weeing alot more than usual he could have a water infection that is making him really tired, fed up and uncomfortable. Your vet will give your hamster antibiotics to clear this up. Good luck.

maybe he is just getting more lazy and eating more.
ummm if u mean pee he might have diabetes so i would call up a vet and see what is the problem! If he is constantly peeing then he probably has diabetes so call a vet!!
