Answers:6 weeks is the minimum for weaning. Please do not move them away at 4 weeks, they may not be fully weaned and definitely don't take them away right away, they will die without mothers milk. Parent hamsters can eat babies if they feel threatened or scared, so unless your hamster is incredibly tame, keep your hands out until 3 or 4 weeks.

i have 2 hamsters and usaly i looked it up and ur supposta seporat them right away or the mom or dad will eat them its a harsh life but thats the way it is u dont have to give um all away though u might wana get seperet cages though becuse even if there the same gender they will fight i should know i had 3 ham hams that died and am now taking care of 2
