My guinea pig squeaks all of the time...does that mean its happy or sad? helpp!

dont worry!

if you notice, he probably squeaks when you open the fridge or when you wrinkle a bag etc. it means that he is happy and excited because he thinks he might get fed soon.

They chatter away quietley when they are happy or content, but they also let out weird little squeaks when they run around the cage like mainiacs.

Your guinea pig would just be quiet and still if he was unhappy. Maybe not even eating, but a squeaking guinea pig is nothing to worry about.

Often they squeak when they want something. They are pretty clever too, mine (rest his soul) was able to recognize the sound of cellophane, which he thought meant he was getting lettuce, and the refrigerator opening, which also made him think he was getting a treat.

Sometimes they will squeak for attention too, if you just come into the room.

It's happy. If guinea pigs are frightened they keep quiet and still or hide under things so as not to attract predators.
