First give them a few days to get used to each other, and soon enough they'll mate. For the mother to give birth it will take about 1-3 weeks. Sometimes a little bit longer. Then you'll end up with ususally about 4-6 babies!

Why do you want to breed them? Their is already enough unwanted pets in this world! Are you willing to find home for all the babies? If not you should not be breeding them. And hamsters can have up to twelve babies so be prepared.

Well, you have to give them like 2 days to get used to each other and the 3rd day they might mate. and the mother will get bigger and bigger depending on the amount of babies she will have. they usually have 3-6 babies. and give it about a week or 2 for the babies to be delivered and make sure to feed them enough food because if you dont feed rodents a lot of food they will end up eating thier babies ((gross, huh?))

I researched online about my teddy bear hamsters that the girl wont show that she is pregnant until 10 days after mating... She gives birth 16 days after mating. I heard you feed the female eggs and/or vegies to help her produce milk while pregnant... My teddy bear hamster just had her babies like an hour ago so i hope that helped you out :) :)

Gestation period for Golden hamster is, around 16 days! Hamster's r solitary animals & should be kept separate anyway. The female will become very aggressive with the male unless she is in heat. And once the "Booty call" is done the female will have no use for the male & show aggression toward him! I strongly suggest u Google, "Hamster Care," to find further info in order to properly care for ur hamster's.>>>ZETA!
