I JUST GOT MYSELF A GUINEA PIG ITS SIX MONTHS OLD AND VERY BIG DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN GUINEA PIGS STOP GROWING?
Answers:Yes, 6 to 9 months sounds about right. Ours were the size of two small dogs by the age of 9 months, not fat but long! It really depends on the breed, our seemed like a hardy hybrid, both short hair. Long hair, tend to stop growing sooner.
I made our hutch big enough to accomodate them, that's not alway practical, so make sure they have space to run about...we let us run round the kitchen if we had a really bad stretch of weather.
Hope you have fun with your new pig, I love the giggling noise they make : )
I believe it is 6-9 months old. Most guinea pigs are 2-3 lbs full grown.
