Where can I buy Gerbils in Adelaide, south Australia

You can buy them at Ben's Pet Barn near Aberfoyle Park around September. They are so cute!! they sell out quick though so you are better off ringing up before hand and requesting one.

If he is selling them, its illegal. Gerbils are not permitted as pets in Australia.

Check with your State Standards on Animal Imports, I may be wrong, but generally, we do not allow the import (and breeding) of gerbils, hamsters, degus, chinchillas etc etc (any rodents other than rats, mice, g-pigs and rabbits, pretty much, unless you have a permit-usually for zookeepers)

If he is selling them, it is possibly because he had them imported (smuggled).

But then again, I may have no idea about the Animal Import Laws of South Australia, I know that they are illegal everywhere else.
