Where can I get a Guinea Pig in Southern California other than Pet Co and Pet Smart
There are many, many guinea pigs out there with no homes. Please consider adopting a piggie from a local shelter or rescue. You can find one near you at www.petfinder.com or go to www.cavyspirit.com
As cavies are herd animals, please consider adopting in pairs. They do best when housed with one of their own and you get twice the love!
Good luck on your search!
call your dog pound as they get them from time to time.
Almost every corner pet shop has them. You could also check the local papers.
Check a paper that sells or trades pets. Or try the smaller mom n' pop-type petstores.
The local animal rescues & shelters often have guinea pigs, amongst other small animals available. You can check on Petfinder.com to see if there are any available where you live.

have you looked at Craigslist,Petfinders, or the Humane Society?
Thanks so much for attempting to find a guinea pig in need at a shelter. I wish that everyone had this kind of attitude. Here are a bunch of Californian sweeties that are up for adoption. I would suggest getting them in pairs because their very social animals.
You can get them from a breeder, thats where I got mine, they are healthier from a breeder than they are from a petstore
