Where can i buy "nicer looking" pet mice2007-11-24 22:18:24

I just love mice! I have13 pet fancy mice, originally 3...

i was wanting to open up a mousery, as in a place where people can buy my mice/adopt them, search mousery on yahoo and you'll find some stuff.

but, the thing is, all of my mice are rather "boring" colors, i love them and all, but i was wanting more vibrant mice.

my mice are black, light gray, dark gray, and 1 blonde colored mouse.

my local petshop never has any nice nice looking mice, allways plain colors, gray, black, brown, white.

i was wanting longhair mice, hairless, or some with bright orange coats.

do you think it would be possible to ask my local petshop if i could specially order a mouse from whoever they get their mice from?

i know it sounds silly but i really dont know.

give me ideas please!

There are mice breeders. Search the internet and they will most likely have some in your area. The breeders usually breed by certain color patterns and fur...you get the picture.

try the internet. or look at the petstore and ask for 'pet mice'. most petstore breed their mice.

I had mice as pets for awhile, I just went to all the pet stores & asked for the mice that people buy to feed snakes & then pick from them.I had some very pretty ones. Make sure if your going to sell the mice or find new homes for them that they aren't going to be food for another animal.
