I want a hamster, but I dont want to buy one from miejers.b/c the last hamster I got from meijers was evil. my hamster fluffy [the hamster from meijers] attacked my hamster from pet co. the hamster from pet co. has a big gap in his back from when fluffy bit him. i am giving fluffy to my brother. So where are good places for nice,sweet, and cute hamsters are

You can find a list of hamsters currently seeking forever homes on www.petfinder.org You can search by location, and gender as well! Most little friends in shelters were once loved, but now displaced. Each rescue/shelter can tell you more about their specific hamsters, and how much handling they've had.

Check with other pet stores in your area. An evil hampster isn't one that you find very often.

Petco although if you buy a girl, most likely its already pregnant despite that they keep them separated. but they only last for two years, try a rabbit, its lasts for 12-22

See if you can find a breeder in your local telephone directory or Internet and get one from them. Breeders usually handle and care for them really well, and can also tell you about their temperament.

Since different stores handle their pets differently, I would simply recommend getting a baby.
