Where should I put my dwarf hamster, in my room, or outside is out of the question
I have a patio, but I have to trn a fan on to keep it from heating up.
Answers:Our dwarf hamster lives in my son's bedroom during the day but when he wakes up at night to do his fiesta, we put him in the bathroom where he can make as much noise as he likes, safe from the cat. It is good to have a cage that can be carried around easily, we take him down in the sitting room when we have a late night, too... He is sociable but doesn't enjoy being handled.
Do not take him outside at all, it is not the sort of pet to apreciate it and that carries all sorts of dangers for him, which he knows instinctively and so the stress only could harm him.
dont put them on ur patio

keep them in your room on top of your dresser and away from ur cat ha ha
inside! my friends dwarf hamster got eaten by spider when sshe left him outside and yes outside is out of the question.
I would put it in your room. What if a bird saw it and started attacking the cage! If you put it in your room then when you wake up in the morning you can feed, and change the water. And what about the winter time?! what would you do then?

put him in your room. Putting him outside is really bad. U should never do that. Besides he loves u and wants to b with u and play with u so....
Keep him inside where you can see him but in a place that is not too loud. You will know when he gets too cold because he will curl up in a ball and shiver so don't worry about it being to cold with the fan on. Outside is out of the question because he would overheat and die and also if he happened to get out then you could never find him! I hope this helps. I'm pretty sure you mean a covered patio, with screen walls and such. That is out of the question, the draft of the fan, and the heat of the air outside would kill your little baby.
do NOT keep the hamster outside, they are not built to handle the weather, heat and cold, there is also predators that could get it (even on your patio)
