keep the hamster inside, away from drafts and direct sunlight, in a nice quiet room, not to much daytime activity, away from loud noises like a radio or tv. I keep my hamsters in my room because i seem to spend more time with them in there, but they do make noise at night with their wheel which might keep you awake
maybe if you can put it in a laundry room or dining room (thats where my used to be) they could be in a quiet place. But dont forget for them to have light in the day, and dark at night, or they will get confused in when to be awake

INSIDE. IT IS NOT GOOD TO MOVE THE CAGE AROUND IN THE WINTER IT COULD DIE IF IT IS OUTSIDE
Keep the innocent Dwarflette inside, please. Best to keep the perky critter around people, maybe in your room. Your room would probably be best, but if your cat\dog(s) like to hang in there. Best not keep it in there. Maybe in your living room? Be careful, no drafts. No closets (except for durig the day) so it can sleep good. Only put it in your closet during the day and if there is good circulation in there.

keep your hamster in your room. they like to be with their owner and in your room like on your dresser or somewhere that they are comfortable at. i keep mine on my old toy box that i don't use any more.
