Wheres the best place to put a guinea pigs cage
Ok I'm getting a guinea pig soon and we where going to put the cage in the basement where it cooler on a table. But I was wondering if thats the best place for a guinea pig... is it?
Answers:While temperature is something to keep in mind, you'll also want to consider where the "action" is in your home. Our pigs are in our living room, where we spend most of our time. Guinea pigs are social animals and not only enjoy each others' company, but also the company of their owners! If your basement is somewhere you spend a lot of time, I'd say it should be fine. But if it's somewhere where the family doesn't really go that often, I would consider another room.

it shouldn't be too cold because they like it about the same as we do. the best place is anywhere in the house. i think basement is okay just make sure you take him/her out and make sure he/she isn't too cold, and if it is then put it upstairs.
no, geuina pigs cannot have direct sunlight and get lonely easily. plus no loud sounds or bright light.

seriously, these cages will really make your pig happy. DON'T BUY A STORE CAGE THEY STINK!
and yes that would be a good place for them. also you might want to make the floor baby proof because they like floor time and need the excercise.
