Answers:Personally, I don't think that any of these would do well. Syrian hamsters can get up to 6 inches in lenght. that's a lot of hamster for a little Habitail. Try looking at the other cages Petsmart or Petco has to offer. We bought a cage for my Syrian that is quite large, and has two stories. He LOVES it! Instead of getting a Habitrail with all of the tubes, try getting some vinyl tubes, or even paper towel rolls. The bottom line is, Habitrails are okay, but not great for Syrians. They also have poor ventilation. If you insist on getting a Habitail or CritterTrail, try connecting the Critter Trails together. This will at least give your Hammy more room. I don't really like the Blue Knight one by the way. Hope this helps.
i don't like the blue knight one because it causes fues that could shorten the hamsters life span.
I just got the critter trail Z and it is the best cage ever!! I don't like the critter trail X though so i would go for the crittertrail y or if they hsve it z
get one of the super pet crittertrail ones. It really doesnt matter which one of these you get. make sure it has a wheel.
Connect at least two CritterTrails 2/3 or three X/Y. One CT is too small for a hamster.
