They are all cute and fun to watch for a couple of hours. After that they make horrible pets that parents have to clean up after, and that get ignored until they die.

I had a hamster when I was a kid. He was really cute.

My brother had rats. When the female had babies, the male ate one of the babies! They are horrible.

The only mice I like are named Mickey & Minnie and they sort-of talk!

Well being a hamster owner i better say hamster ;) but they are all cute! rabbits are so hugable! rats and clever (could probably get a higher mark in a math test than me) and hamsters are just funny :P

Bunnies are adorable, hamsters take a while to bond with (at least me anyways), rats are large and more money, and mice (as a scientific fact) are the smelliest mammals you can get as a pet.

Out of the four of them, I'd say I like rabbits as pets the least. Don't get me wrong, I love rabbits, but for the most part rabbits are not cuddlers. (This gets them into trouble through no fault of their own - rabbits LOOK like they SHOULD be cuddlers and aren't, and when people who haven't done their research find this out after the fact, the bunnies tend to get neglected, ignored, and finally abandonded somewhere.) They tend to panic when all four of their feet are off of the ground - they'd rather sit in your lap or interact with you on the floor where they know they can run if something scares them. Hamsters, mice and rats on the other hand, can all be "pocket" pets. I've had mice and rats, and I currently breed hamsters. Rats, especially, have an awful lot of intelligence and personality packed into a little body. They will groom you (it tickles!), come when you call them, learn tricks, and constantly entertain you with their antics. Rats are also happy to truck around the house with you hiding in a sweatshirt hood or wide pocket, or a tucked-in shirt.
