Female rat, or Male rat for a pet

I'm going to be getting a pair of rats soon, but im still not sure if i want male or female

Answers:

This is really a personal choice, rather than which would be "best".

Males tend to be more laid back and will happily sit on your shoulders for hours.

Females on the other hand are more active and curious. They love to explore and climb and try out new toys.

So, the question is whether you want a pet who will be happy to just sit there and be with you or do you want a pet who will be more active and loves to play?

Don't get me wrong! Males enjoy playtime as well, but I've found females to be a bit more frisky than males. :)

In my own home, it depends on the mood I'm in as to who I want to be with.

If I just got home from work and want to sit down and relax, Bluto is the perfect male for me! He's happiest just cuddling up and sitting on my shoulders, nestled into my neck.

If it's a weekend morning and I want to play, Sinead or Peek are both lots of fun. :)

The choice is up to you. :)

it all depends on u, and your attitude. females are much more active, and continuously want to keep moving. males are the tootle opacity. they are the sort of pet that just want to sleep in your lap. they are both a good chose for a pet.
