i have 2 female rats.
I have always had female rats and they have been great to me! Laid back and very loving. But either way I think you'll enjoy whatever you end up with!

I don't have rats, but I have two chinchillas. Female rodents always seem to be very fiesty and full of energy, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, rats, I'm sure, too. But also be aware about getting two male rats (they might fight). Two female rats might be best but a bit of a handful. I would recommend getting a pair of one female and one male rat.
