Which do you prefer: bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, or mice (as pets)
I really want to get one of those little guys but i dont know which one! What do you think? which one's the most playfulish?
Answers:I have 1 guinea pig, 1 rabbit, and 2 dwarf hamsters! To make up your mind, I have typed up the disadvantages and the advatages about them! Here they are:
Rabbits=disadvantages:
They can get a little bit stinky, so, cleaning the cage every week, along with a spot cleaning every other day, would be GREAT!
They can be a little expensive. Adding up all of the vet bills, the adoption fee, and ALL of the other supplies that you have to get, can get kinda expensive!
They Chew On EVERYTHING! This is true! When letting a rabbit out of his/her cage, they are likely to chew on cords or anything thing else that they can reach!
They are hard to handle, sometimes, only if they are used to being handled, will they not try to jump out of your hands!
Rabbits=advantages:
They are loving creatures. They enjoy company of others, so, like my guinea pig and my rabbit enjoy playing together!
They will eat pretty much any left over fruit or veggie!
Guinea pigs=disadvantages:
They can be a little stinky too! So, just like rabbits, spot cleaning the cage every other day, and then, cleaning the WHOLE cage out once a week, is good for a guinea pigs health!
They are the only rodents that can't produce their own Vitamin C. So, giving a guinea pig about 1 orange slice every day, keeps the vet away!
