Which feeding schedule is best for a GP2007-11-24 22:19:37

I give my Guineas food whenever i have some out. Like when i eat strawberries i give them the tops and when i eat Mellon they get the rinds.

I like the second one the best. But, for the bedtime schedule on the second on, I would recommend that you hold off on the washed grass. They already will have a lot to eat! Other then that, everything else sounds good! Thanks, and good luck,

#1 is much better for your pig. #2 has too much sugar in it for a daily diet. Fruit should also be given rarely, if at all. It's too sugary and watery. Carrots are also full of water so 1/2 for the whole day is as much as one pig should have. Celery is ok, but not great. I avoid it.

#1 is definently preferred among guinea pig owners. Guinea pigs don't do well with celery, or even fruit for that matter. They much rather like vegetables. I feed my girls Romaine lettuce, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, cilantro, ect.

y do u feed them peppers and count the guinea pigs food?

I'd say No. 1 with pellet food. That's what my little dude eats and he is very happy. He also gets oranges
