Which guinea pig should i get2007-11-24 22:19:37

my mom is only letting me get ont piggy tomrrow morning and we just went there and they have a small female piggy that looked to be a lil young and then they got another male and it's a long haired it's bout 4 months and it's white,dark brown and tan and he is shy but so cute.then the one that i totally love seems very sweet and very loud.the ppl at the pet store let me hold him and his ears and face at perfect and his fur is soft and he is white dark brown orangey tany type like peaunut butter and a black spot of fur on his tush lol.but the cutest thing is that he has a lil funky hair do on the top of his head lol but i no it's is normal but it's so cute!!he has a hair do and he doesnt even add hair spary lol.they all are very heathly and cute and friendly but i dont know which one.

Guinea-pigs can look younger. I've seen some at 6 weeks that are twice the size of others. When we got ours they were long and sleek, perfectly healthy, just different shape.

In truth, if all 3 are healthy, go for the one that really takes you. Friendliness can be improved with time and good handling, and if you really click with 1, then that's the one to have. :) While you do have to use your head pet hunting, your heart is also a big point.

it is really up to you. you have held him and sounds like you like the male one so go with the male since you talked more about him in your paragraph

Tomorow when you go hold them about the same amount a time. And take the one that you can pet and his not scared. Really it's up to you.

If I were to choose. I dd take a girl. I had a boy once and it was a long haired one., and all it did was peeped and pooped in my lap! But whiche ever is great.

Have you tried your local shelter or a piggie rescue near you? There are sooooo many cool piggies out there that would really love a home.
