All three are NOTHING alike. I can't begin to tell you the differences! Pleas do seperate research on all three and decide from your own opininons.

All the Habitrails and toys are pretty much made for the teddy bear full size hamster. The rat cannot play on toys because of its tail. And there are not many toys for the dwarf. However if you plan to constantly carry the pet around with you, I suggest a rat. They seem to be more intelligent. They also have fewer illnesses.

I prefer teddies because thay are a little better tempered but dwarf are fun especially for small children once they are "tamed" (taught that hands are good) they both are very friendly but Im not sure about rats i've never had one.i have had two dwarf hamsters and three teddies all were very friendly especially long haired ones.

do you want a big hamster or small? dont get a rat. a dwarf hamster doesnt grow very big but a teddy bear hamster is as big as the palm of your hand

Well I've got two pet female ratties and have had them for about 5 months now and I have to say that I feel so blessed having them as pets. They are heart-wrenchingly adorable; VERY sociable, so you can cuddle up to them and they would give you little kisses; very intelligent;; rats are the most intelligent of all rodents; they are very low maintenance;; I only have to clean out their cage about once a week and you probably only have to buy them food once every two or three months depending on the size of the bag of food and how many rats you have.
