Well I think a Syrian hamster (teddy bear hamster) because they are so sweet and gentle and so much fu to have! dwarf hamsters are small and are harder to holld on to and bite more so i would go with the syrian hamster. Rats are also intelligent and friendly. It really depends on the animal and how patient you are. I would do some research on all of them and then see which one you think is best! You can also go to the pet store in the evening ( when hamsters are more active) and ask to hold and pet the kinds of pets you want to hold and pet and see which one is more calm and bites less for you!
