Which is better a rabbit or guineA PIG2007-11-24 22:19:39

well i am going to the petstore and i don't know what to buy except things for my hamster

Honestly, guinea pigs are more holdable and easier to care for provided you buy a large enough cage, what i did was buy a plastic kiddy pool for my guinea to run around in while I cleaned his cage

rabbits are more like cats, most hate to be held, you have to fix them (an expensive proposition) and finding a large enough cage is near impossible, they also need several hours of supervised out time each day, they also cant have wire bottom cages like guinea pigs

dont buy EITHER from a pet store! use petfinder.com if you want a pet. look at the question i posted earlier about getting people to explain why it is better to adopt then buy from a pet store.

ps i personallt like piggies better
