Please do not buy any animals from a pet store like that. They are not taken well care of. Go to an animal shelter, or go to petfinder.com and search for shelters that have guinea pigs in your area. Also, there have been quite a few stories I've read saying that a person got a "male" hamster or guinea pig and ended up with babies.
I would rather have a guinea pig(and I do) But I have always wanted a bunny, so either would work out fine!
guinea pig- i have 4!! they are very easy to handle and dont need as much room as a rabbit
