The ones with hair shed a lot

I like em both but the one with hair is fluffier ; )
the personalities aren't depended on fur or no fur, bu ti think the ones with hair are cuter
Well, it really depends if anyone in your family is allergic to guinea pigs. If so, I would recommend the hairless guinea pig. But, if not, totally go for the furry guinea pig! They are AWSOME pets to have! I love my guinea pig ToTo SO MUCH! He brings so much joy to my life! If you want to see what he looks like, he is my avatar picture! If you need any information on guinea pigs, or if you have any questions about them, you can email me at: pethelper4@yahoo.com! thanks!
Not sure what you mean by "better" but I do know that hairless guinea pigs are harder to take care of as you really need to take care of their habitat as they need adequate heat. Also, hairless ones look like some creature out of Star Wars.
Hairless guinea pigs were originally bred b/ c of lab experiements. They are sickly animals that require VERY specific guidelines and care. It is horrible that people keep breeding them at all! They have only about half the life expectancy of a "normal" guinea pig. You will have to have a lot of money available, they frequently need vet visits. They are suseptible to illness easier than normal pigs.
