Hi May I know which is smaller size, Holland Lop or mini Lop breed in Singapore? Is it normal for 2mth old Lionhead eats almost all the time. She eats alot of Hay. Thank you for answering.
Answers:I can't answer for Singapore, but here in the U.S. a Holland Lop's ideal weight is 3 to 4 pounds and a Mini Lop's ideal weight is 4 1/2 to 6 1/2 pounds, so.the Holland Lop is definitely smaller. Those figures are quoted from the "Standards of Perfection", a handbook created for rabbit breeders. I would just watch your young rabbit's weight carefully. If it begins to get fat, cut back the amount of feed you offer her. Many rabbits cannot be trusted to make wise choices when offered unlimited feed!
The Holland lop is smaller than the Mini Lop.
You should give your rabbit a lot of timothy hay, but not too many pellets. Be sure to check out the websites for the lists of toxic food to rabbits and don't feed any of those things. (It's a long list, or I would put it here.)
