Are there any kind of rodents that will not bite or scratch too hard when they're put in a tight area?
Me and my pal are thinking about buying one or three, and we just want to play it safe!
Tips would be greeeeeeaaate!

Answers:Wait - what kind of tight area?
I dont think I want to help you because I'm scared for the animal. But, if you're going to love your pet, get a rat. They're the nicest.
The dwarf hampsters are freakin' mean.
probably hamsters are the most gentle.
what kind of tight area are you talking about?
any ways i think hamsters are really friendly, but not the little grey ones the dwarfs. they seem to be really aggresive, well in my opinion they are, and mice are kinda sketchy. hope this helps a little =)
all rats that have dode their fix of heroin are very sedate
I disagree with martin h. Hamsters sometimes like to bite and can get lost really easily. I personally think that Guinea Pigs are very gentle and not very agressive and are very playful. They don't bite unless you really upset them. The most they could do to you is make a couple of noises. It is good that you are thinking of adopting more than one, rodents live a healthier and happier life with other animals of the same type around. I hope this helps you. Good luck with your new pet!
What do you mean by tight area?!? ALL rodents can bite pretty darn hard if they are scared and trapped in a small space.
