dwarfs on the other hand, usually bite...HARD, are very fast, hard to tame, and are much smaller
Ive owned serians and dwarfs and love them both for different reasons, but i would reccomend a serian (full grown)
Dwarf hamsters are really cute, you can have more than one living in a cage at a time, and they're a little different.
Syrian hamsters are bigger, they tame easier and you will probably find more literature towards them, and more vets who are familiar with their health.
My experience with dwarfs is that you have to handle them daily, and that those little things can bite you five times before the pain registers in you brain.
