i would say a rabbit a guinea pig is fithly and takes alot more to maintain then a rabbit. Even though it goes to the bathroom more often it does not stink as much has the guniea pig does. Also a rabbit eats more things that we eat they can eat anything in a salad and some fruits so a rabbit is actulley cheaper to maintain than a gunie pig

I recommend getting a guinea pig to start off as they rarely bite and don't scratch as bad,and mostly all of them you can hold without many problems.I have a guinea pig and 3 rabbits,and even though I hold one of mine my rabbit still tends to scratch me and they can sometimes bite.Good luck and God Bless.

I would get a Holland lop bunny, its a change from having a smaller animal. but it all depends if you need a licence to have a bunny as a pet hope i helped. good luck with Sammy, which ever animal you may chose

RATS they are dolcile and very very intelligent i taught mine hide-seek i promise!even my friend they are very clean to and very very sweet i took good care of mine though by 2 cause mine was very healthy every day i played with it but depressed it wanted a friend or a bigger cage though it was getting big so make sure get it a big cage and mybe a friend if u dont want to then play with it EVERYDAY it will be very happy!!

Having had both types of pet, I would recommend the guinea pig. You didn't mention whether or not you were planning to keep the pet indoors or out, but for indoors I find guinea pigs a better choice. Rabbits are lovely, but I've always felt my guinea pigs seemed to 'connect' better with people. I also found that my rabbits pooped so much more, and this made it difficult to handle them indoors.
