Which pet rodent do you have, and which would you like next2007-11-24 22:19:06

I would not consider anything else. Hamsters we have had in the past have been nasty biters. Mice are too small and quick for me. Gerbils are not legal in California.

The only rodent that I've ever had is a hampster. I really want Chinchillas though. They are the softest and cutest rodent. They're kind of like a half squirrel half bunny with incredibly soft fur. The only down side is that they can run up to $160 each.

I have three degus, two gerbils and two hamsters (one Syrian, one Winter white).

Two rats. One of them is unbelievably cute and small, everyone who visits us always asks why we have a mouse and a rat in the same cage xD. Hopefully she'll be more recognizable for what she is once she grows up a little and puts on some weight.

She doesn't have a name yet, but she's a brown hooded. The larger one is named Kitty, and she's siamese.

I think I'd like to try raising gerbils sometime :). I doubt I'll ever have hamsters again, don't like them that much compared to other pets. I might try keeping guinea pigs once I'm older, but mice and chinchillas don't really appeal to me.

And I'll probably continue to raise rats, 'cause they're so great ^^.

i have a hamster and i luv it sooo much i would like to get another one but i would get a chinchilla next because there're soooooo soft and fuzzy

I have many pets, of my rodents I only have two hamsters (one syrian and one dwarf -separate cages) and I love them both so much!
