Guinea pigs do make good pets and can even be litter trained. When they get full grown, depending on their individual personality, they can make great little lap pets but when they poo on you, it's a lot more than a rat.

Did you consider a cat or puppy or are you not allowed to have those?

Guinea pigs make the best pets. I have two and they are great. They are bigger, better, cuter, cuddlier, more easy to handle, like company, are sociable and will love you back. They are great pets. If you are going to get guinea pigs think about getting two because they do like to socialise. It won't cost too much, all together with the cage and their toys, food bowl, water bottle etc. it cost me $150 AU but you can get much cheaper cages. They are relatively easy to take care of and are fun and cuddly. =D

Guinea pigs are good pets. My nieces and nephew have guinea pigs. They practically cuddle. They're also relatively clean.

Don't get a ferret. They stink. Literally.

get a guinea pig or you could get a ferret, cat, a small type of dog like a yorkie, a bird i used to have one and with the wings clipped they can not fly off i use to take mine outside on my shoulder and she would stay put, and some birds you can teach to talk, spider, just go to the pet store and look around until you find the perfect pet for you.

hamsters are great pets . get the black bear hamster or the teddy bear hamster they are both very friendly

Hi, If you get a male hamster they are a lot mellow that the female and tin not to be biters. They do make a very good pet but you don't want to put them in a cage together they will fight and they do hurt each other i seem one hamster lose it's eye from another hamsters. But by themselves are great little pets. Now a Guinea are little Pig they eat all the time and poop all the time and the have a stinky smell to them.Have you heard of a Sugar Glider They are very smart and a small little pet you can look them-up on the Internet. I think you will like a Sugar Glider. Lol
